I am a licensed clinical social worker and have practiced all over the state of California, planting my roots in Sacramento in 2019. I earned a Master of Social Welfare from the University of California, Los Angeles, enhancing my commitment as a dedicated advocate for children and families.
Throughout my career, I have worked with children, adolescents, families, and adults in diverse settings including: courts, domestic violence shelters, schools, transitional housing facilities, non-profit mental health agencies, residential group homes, and hospitals.
I love my work as a therapist because it allows me to utilize the skills I have curated in these various environments to uniquely support each person and family’s needs.
About Me:
As a therapist, I am non-judgmental and grounded. I meet each person where they are and strive to support them in building intentions for themselves. I utilize a variety of theories and therapy styles in my approach, including: attachment styles, family and systems theory, mindfulness, harm reduction, play/art therapy, and behavior modification. My training as a social worker has enhanced my system’s perspective— I see each person as an individual impacted by the groups around them, including their family, friends, community, health/education services, and the broader policies that affect them.
I bring a deep commitment to my own personal growth and healing and truly believe in the powerful effects of psychotherapy.
